We inspect the physical equipment including the well location, well head, pressure tank, pump, wiring, and pressure switch. If the water flow appears weak, we can time the well to determine the pumping rate. The minimum acceptable pumping rate as defined by FHA is 3 gpm. A low pumping rate indicates a problem with the equipment or the availability of ground water.
Our testing of lead paint is simply a swab test that will detect the presence of lead. It does not detect the amount of lead or on what layer of paint the lead is present. Lab analysis would be required for these more precise measurements.
